    Within private practice Sarah enjoys supporting people aged 16 years and up, from diverse backgrounds with varied presentations.

    Sarah supports people with significant mental health challenges, including adults who have experienced adversity or trauma during childhood. She also works alongside individuals who may be looking to improve their wellbeing in a specific life domain, or who are simply seeking a non-judgemental, supportive space to facilitate their mental health and wellbeing over the longer term working within a coaching framework.

  • Professional background

    Sarah Marshall (Registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia) completed her Bachelor of Science (Hon) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the University of Wollongong. She has spent two decades working in the mental health sector, and during this time has sought a broad range of experience, including in the private, community health and tertiary sectors.

    She has spent time as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Institute for Positive Psychology and Education (ACU), pursuing her research interests into areas such as compassion and mindfulness. Her research has been widely cited (S Marshall Research Gate).

    Over the past decade she has focused her time on private practice where she thoroughly enjoys assisting individuals to build their best life, supporting them to overcome challenges that they face. She remains committed to and passionate about lifelong learning and the practical application of research into practice.

    In her spare time Sarah enjoys connecting with family and friends, exploring new places and seeking adventure, spending quiet moments immersed in nature and running around and keeping active as the mother of two young boys.
